Dow and XJO: Andrew Gibbs will provide insights into the direction of these indices through the application of public and commercial activity and seasonal patterns to complement conventional technical analysis
ASX Sentiment: Members are polled as to the future direction of the ASX200 Index
Chart Clinic: Fanie Last will show a chart and give his opinions of what it is up to.
Keynote Presentation: Andrew Gibbs
Topic: Short Term Trading
Andrew will present proven and robust methods that can be utilised for trading 1-3 day moves across stock and futures markets in Australia or around the world. Andrew utilises five main concepts including chart patterns, seasonality, intermarket analysis, volatility and trend when looking for conditions that setup a new trade. During the presentation Andrew will show you how you can utilise a short term pattern such as an overnight gap and combine this with a seasonal influence to give the trade highest possible chance for success. If you're a longer term trader you can also utilise these methods to refine your entry techniques and squeeze that extra 1 or 2% from each trade.
